  1. Queen’s Royal Regiment:
    1st Bn – Burma (Sittang Bend)
    2nd Bn – India (Ponna– post Chindit Cols 21&22)
    1/5th – Germany (Berlin)
    1/6th and 1/7th –Yorkshire, after advance towards Germany, with 1/5th in 131 Bde
    2/5th, 2/6th and 2/7th Bns (169 Bde) – Italy - Trieste

  2. The Buffs:
    1st Bn – Trieste
    2nd Bn - Rangoon
    5th Bn - Austria

  3. The East Surrey Regiment:
    1st Bn – Austria (Carinthia)
    2nd Bn – Sussex. (Original 2nd Bn POW’s freed Changi, Japan, Singapore)
    1/6th Bn – Greece (Stilis)
    2/6th Bn - Norfolk

  4. The Royal Sussex Regiment:
    9th Bn - On board ship for Operation ZIPPER, the amphibious assault on Malaya

  5. The Hampshire Regiment:
    1st Bn – Lincolnshire (Louth)
    2nd Bn – Austria, (Freidburg)
    1/4th Bn – Austria (Furstenfledt)
    2/4th Bn – Greece, (Yannina)
    5th Bn - Austria (Hartberg)
    7th - Dorset (Blandford)

  6. The Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Regiment:
    1st Bn – Greece
